Since the inception of the carbine rifle, weapons storage and security racks have been designed specific to the weapons or weapons system to store (M12 rank for m16s' M240 racks for 240B and M249SAW machine guns)

With migration to the M4 Carbine and other smaller weapons and the proliferation of weapon mounted optics and electronics the standard M12 weapons racks used through all branches of the military will no longer work. While modifying these racks will provide a temporary solution, weapons must be stripped of all attachments prior to storage, virtually impossible in an active armory.

Paradigm Shift
The military needs to move to an adaptable weapons storage platform where by the rack or cabinet can easily and quickly be reconfigured to store the weapon or weapon system.

Cost savings
Short term savings: The high density nature of SecureIt weapons storage systems means few racks are needed and less pfloorspace is required.
Long term savings: The assets of the SecureIt system are the racks and locking systems. These will never have to be replaced. Components used in the racks to hold weapons are inexpensive and easy to produce. Should the military move to a radically new or different weapons system the SecureIt racks will remain in service. We will design and product an inexpensive bracket to hold the new weapon.

Reduce / eliminate maintenance Cost.
The SecureIt system while extremely effective is very simple. SecureIt does not use bi-folding or retractable door systems. SecureIt feels these complicated systems; while impressive during a demonstration have an unacceptable failure rate and high maintenance costs.
